Wander­jahre

The collective idea encompasses the transregional interest in international cooperation, new artistic positions and approaches, as well as craftsmanship. As artists we are interpreters of our time, growing together globally through contemporary forms of communication while being divided and limited by political attitudes.

As the Freeters collective we find sources of inspiration and exchange abroad, the artistic research spirit drives us to seek Norwegian forests and quarries, picturesque areas in Italy and Spain, or urban life in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and San Francisco. At the same time we offer a place for guests and international exchanges in our workshop and our AiR Studio (in Bonn) and cultivate our international network with passion.
